The tiny community of Sullivan, originally named Winfield, was laid out in 1881 and prospered with the arrival of the very railroad whose route you hike or bike today! A depot was built here, as well as a tavern & inn, a grocery, blacksmith shop, bank, and numerous other businesses.
Today, as then, Sullivan taverns and eateries are popular destinations for weary travelers.
